Disney just had a big week, even by Thanksgiving standards.
As fans flocked to the theme parks, Zootopia 2 dominated at the box office.

So, odds are good that you had a VERY Disney holiday. How did that translate in terms of crowds?
Here are Walt Disney World’s average wait times for Thanksgiving week 2025.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

At this park, the news continues to center on Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, the new show.
Disney sagely replaced a less popular brand, A Bug’s Life, as the centerpiece at the Tree of Life.

The timing proved ideal, as Zootopia has become Disney’s hottest property at the end of the year.
How did this impact the show? Well, it definitely mattered some.

Last week, Better Zoogether averaged a wait of 24 minutes, which is six minutes or 33 percent more than last time.
So, yeah, fans are relishing the combination of the new show and the movie sequel.

Okay, Thanksgiving Week may have had more to do with Zootopia’s increased wait than the movie.

We’ll compare the data over the next couple of weeks to decide.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Still, I think one thing is clear. Animal Kingdom attendance spiked last week.
Anecdotally, I heard the same thing about EPCOT and Magic Kingdom.

EPCOT

Last Friday, the 2025 EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays began.
MickeyBlog tracked massive crowds on that day, but it wasn’t all festival-related.

As you can see, tourists flocked to Walt Disney World for the holidays.
So, EPCOT had even more reason for its crowd surge. Here are the park’s average wait times last week:

That’s seven minutes more than last time, but it comes with an important caveat.

Most of the data is from before the festival began. So, we’ll track the impact more last week.
The current rise is almost entirely attributable to the Thanksgiving holiday, just as with Zootopia.

Overall, Magic Kingdom guests spent an average of 29 minutes in line per attraction.
That’s four minutes more than last time and definitely indicative of sizable holiday crowds.

Overall, Walt Disney World’s theme park attractions increased their average waits by more than ten minutes.
So, yeah, people spent the holidays at the Most Magical Place on Earth. We all would if we could.
