PHOTOS: Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Returns For the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays
With Thanksgiving in the rearview mirror, EPCOT is finally coming alive with festive magic for the 2025 Festival of the Holidays.
Throughout the day, we will be reporting live from Walt Disney World, bringing you updates on the festive foods, holiday fun, and Christmas magic unfolding across EPCOT.
I, however, want to turn your attention to the return of a fan-favorite holiday activity.
Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition
With the start of the 2025 Festival of the Holidays today, Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition has returned!
For those who may not remember, the festive scavenger hunt takes guests on a journey across World Showcase as they search for Olaf and learn about different holiday traditions from around the world.
Getting Your Board
To participate in Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition, guests must first pick up their gameboard.

You can find the map at Creations Shop, Disney Traders, and the World Celebration merchandise kiosk for $11.99.

From there, it is time to start exploring!

Olaf statues have been scattered throughout World Showcase, allowing fans to learn more about the holiday traditions of various countries.

When you find Olaf, you mark the pavilion off with a sticker on your map!

Getting Your Prize
After completing the scavenger hunt and checking off all the pavilions, players can return their map and redeem it for a prize.
This year, Disney is giving away plates!
As you can see, there are three different designs, featuring different Frozen characters.
