PHOTOS: Crowds Flocked to EPCOT This Morning For the Start of the 2025 Festival of the Holidays
EPCOT came alive with festive fun and seasonal spirit this morning, as the 2025 International Festival of the Holidays officially kicked off.
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know we are reporting live from Walt Disney World’s second theme park, bringing you updates on all the festive foods, exclusive merchandise, and seasonal fun taking place.
So far, we have met Santa Goofy, explored CommuniCore Hall, and tried all kinds of foods from the holiday markets.
Needless to say, it has been an exciting day!
EPCOT Is Busy Today
As it is both the first day of EPCOT’s 2025 International Festival of the Holidays and the day after Thanksgiving, the park has been packed!
With Disney World in the midst of one of its busiest weeks of the year, guests flocked to EPCOT this morning to check out the Festival of the Holidays festivities.
Early in the morning, lines were long to get into the park, and the EPCOT entrance area was abuzz.
Here is another look at the crowds.
By the time the Festival of the Holidays began in earnest, crowds had made their way to World Showcase, where the preponderance of festival activities are located.
The Park Was Ready
It should be noted that this kind of crowd was expected at EPCOT today, and Cast Members were ready for the influx of visitors.
Nevertheless, exploring the park today took a little extra planning and patience.
