If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog, you know that it is beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Walt Disney World.
With the holiday season now in full swing, The Most Magical Place on Earth has come alive with festive fun and Christmas cheer.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
Over the past several days, we have been bringing you updates on the gingerbread displays and Christmas decorations that have debuted at various resorts.
Previously, we have toured Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s BoardWalk Inn.

Now, it’s time to head over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Gingerbread Menagerie Has Arrived
In what has become one of my favorite holiday traditions, Disney’s Animal Kingdom is celebrating the season with a gingerbread animal display.

The holiday menagerie features Debra the Zebra, Francisco the Flamingo, and Ginger the Giraffe.

Here is another look at the display!

For those who may not know, Animal Kingdom Lodge adds another animal to its display every year.

This year, the resort has introduced Rice the River Hog.

Needless to say, he is adorable!
Nearby, a stand is selling gingerbread treats.

Here is a closer look at the menu.

Gingerbread Merchandise Has Arrived
Next up, we have merchandise.

Guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge can now purchase gingerbread mugs, ornaments, and pins.

Here is a closer look at the new merchandise.

It is AMAZING.

The new gingerbread merchandise can be purchased at Zawadi Marketplace.
More Holiday Decor
Outside of the gingerbread display, Animal Kingdom Lodge’s iconic tree has been installed.

The lobby is glistening as the giant tree sparkles in the room’s center.

As you can see, the tree is trimmed with animal-themed ornaments and holly!

Here is a closer look.

The tree looks amazing!
I love how the lights reflect off the hardwood floor.

Elsewhere in the lobby, illuminated garland lines the balconies.
Kidani Village
Moving over to Kidani Village, more Christmas décor can be found.

As guests head toward the lobby, they are greeted with strands of garland.

Festive wreaths line the walls.

Inside, another large Christmas tree has been erected.

Kidani Village is also decked out for Christmas
Once again, the tree is decorated with animal-themed ornaments.

As you can see, the tree is topped with a gold star.

The base has presents under it.

The whole lobby is coming alive with festive fun.

Here is one last look.

All in all, the resort looks amazing!
