Dates and Details Revealed for the 2026 Disneyland After Dark Events!
We know we’re busy celebrating the holiday season at the Disneyland Resort, but we have to shift focus momentarily.
Why? Well, Disney Parks Blog just revealed dates and details for one of the resort’s most popular offerings–the Disneyland After Dark events!
Here’s everything we know so far about the 2026 Disneyland After Dark events.
2026 Disneyland After Dark Events
The Disneyland After Dark events will return to the resort next year, running on select nights from January through June.
The return will also come with the debut of a new, anniversary-themed party series!

Sweethearts’ Nite

Celebrate love with your valentine at this adorable event!
This year, the series will debut new offerings like the “Celebrate Love Cavalcade,” which will float down Main Street, U.S.A. with Mickey, Minnie, and other pals, celebrating love!
The “Once Upon a Dream – A Musical Journey Through the Disney Songbook” is also a new offering, providing guests with a “musical look” at love, with live singers and royalty!
Serenade your valentine with the Disney Duets karaoke inside the Golden Horseshoe, or dance the night away with Donald and Daisy at the Valentine’s Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace.
Of course, there will also be tons of backdrops available, so you can take photos to commemorate your lovely night.
Specialty Food
Guests can dive into the following new foods at Sweethearts’ Nite:
- Triple Berry Slushy with a Mickey-shaped Glow Cube – Galactic Grill
- Surf n’ Turf Loaded Fries – Red Rose Taverne
- Mickey-shaped Strawberry Cream Puff – Rancho del Zocalo Restaurante
Table-service restaurants will also offer specialty menu items; reservations are highly recommended.
Merchandise
This year’s Sweethearts’ Nite collection includes an adorable Mickey and Minnie headband, a trading pin, a shirt, a zip-up hoodie, and a tumbler.

70 Years of Favorites

This year, the resort will debut an all-new series–70 Years of Favorites! The anniversary-inspired theme will commemorate seven decades of magic at Disneyland Park!
The event will feature swing dancing at the Royal Theatre, honoring when guests would gather to jitterbug the night away with swing bands.
Or you can stomp into some fun with line dancing at The Golden Horseshoe! This offering will be a tribute to “Woody’s Round Up,” a cowboy show that took over the Frontierland stage in the late ’90s and early 2000s.
The Videopolis Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace promises to be a can’t-miss dance party featuring ’80s tunes, a live DJ, and retro vibes.
There will also be photo-ops honoring past entertainment like the “Mad T Party,” the “Main Street Electrical,” and Club Buzz! Characters from the past will also join the party, including Merlin, Flik, Atta, the Fantasmic! Monkeys, and “Mother” and “Father” from Carousel of Progress.

Pride Nite

Pride Nite is returning yet again, celebrating the LGBTQIA+ community! Guests can expect rainbow projections and decorations, exciting entertainment, and more.

Tips and General Information
Tips
Here are some tips to make your night even more special:
- Dress Up: These events get special costume guidelines, providing more flexibility than regular park hours. Go all out to match the theme!
- Stay Close: Staying at a resort hotel or Good Neighbor Hotel will make your walk to and from the event far easier, creating a smoother night!
- Download the Disneyland App: Whether mobile ordering or looking for your next attraction (which will have a far shorter wait time during the event), the Disneyland App will make it easier to plan your night of fun.
General Information
Each event will start at 9PM and end at 1AM. Event tickets allow party guests to “mix-in” to Disneyland Park at 6PM, providing 3 additional hours of park time! (This is also a great time to look around and plan out your night.)
Party guests will receive unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos captured during the party. Scan your event wristband’s QR code via the Disneyland App to access your photos.
You’ll receive a commemorative keepsake and event guide map on the night of your party. This will be an amazing resource during the party–and it doubles as a fun souvenir!
