A Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration After Dark Event Will Debut in 2026!
The Disneyland Resort will kick off 2026 with exciting, fan-favorite events!

Of course, we’re talking about the Disneyland After Dark events, which will bring themed parties to Disneyland Park on select nights from January through June.
Sweethearts’ Nite, Disney Channel Nite, Star Wars Nite, and Pride Nite will all return next year, accompanied by an all-new party. Here’s everything we know about the new series!
Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites
Disney Parks Blog revealed that a new party will debut next year–Disneyland After Dark: 70 Years of Favorites! The new theme is inspired by the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, honoring seven decades of magic moments!
The party will pay homage to Disneyland’s rich, illustrious history, with plenty of throwbacks and familiar faces.

The party will take place on the following nights:
- Tuesday, March 3
- Thursday, March 5
Tickets will go on sale on the following dates:
- Tuesday, December 9th, 2025 (No Earlier Than 9AM PT) – Inspire Magic Key Holders Pre-Sale
- Wednesday, December 10th, 2025 (No Earlier Than 9AM PT) – ALL Magic Key Holders Pre-Sale
- Thursday, December 11th, 2025 (No Earlier Than 9AM PT) – General Public Sale
The party will start at 9PM and end at 1AM, with event mix-in starting at 6PM, giving guests an extra 3 hours to enjoy the park and plan out their party night!
Entertainment
The Royal Theatre in Fantasyland will host swing dancing, honoring when guests would gather to jitterbug and jive along to swing bands.
Feel the nostalgia with the Videopolis Dance Party at Tomorrowland Terrace! This throwback party will feature a live DJ, ’80s music, and retro décor.
Or you can head over to The Golden Horseshoe for line dancing! This offering is a tribute to “Woody’s Round Up,” a cowboy show that took over the Frontierland Stage in the late ’90s and early 2000s.
Commemorate your party night–and the 70th anniversary–with photo opportunities stationed throughout the park! They will honor past entertainment like the “Mad T Party,” the “Main Street Electrical Parade,” and Club Buzz.
Characters from years past will also join the party, including Merlin, Flik, Atta, the Fantasmic! Monkeys, “Mother” and “Father” from Carousel of Progress, and “Long Lost Friends” from Disney Afternoon,

Food
Of course, it wouldn’t be a party without themed food! Here’s what guests can dig into during the event, honoring the “Disneyland kitchens of yesteryear”:
- Mushroom Philly Sandwich (plant-based) and Maple Bacon Cinnamon Roll at Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe
- Birria Mac and Cheese in a bread bowl at Refreshment Corner
- Gaston Brew at Red Rose Taverne
- Blackened New York Steak and Prawns – River Belle Terrace
