Disney Wins the Holidays With ‘Best Christmas Ever’
Once again, Disney is celebrating the holidays by releasing a short film that highlights what makes Disney so special.
The new featurette is titled A Disney Holiday Short: Best Christmas Ever and tells the story of a young girl whose doodle comes to life when Santa mistakes it for her Christmas list.
“Disney stories have always been a source of togetherness, wonder, and joy, especially during the holidays,” said Disney’s Joanna Balikian, Senior Vice President, Brand Management.

“With ‘A Disney Holiday Short: Best Christmas Ever,’ we sought to capture that timeless spirit of friendship, family, and imagination that brings generations together and makes the holidays magical.”
Directed by Taika Waititi, the short has been a hit with fans young and old.
The Advertisement Is Resonating With Audiences
In fact, according to a new report from DAVID, Best Christmas Ever has been viewers’ favorite holiday commercial this year!

The short generated an “intense positive emotional response” from 58% of viewers, which was the most of any Christmas ad this year.
Additionally, the short generated 169% more intense feelings of adoration, 149% more feelings of nostalgia, and 125% more feelings of warmth than the average advertisement.
