Jennifer Garner Replaced by Disney Legend as Candlelight Processional Narrator
I think it’s safe to say that at Walt Disney World, the Candlelight Processional is about as festive as you can get.

Taking place as part of the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, this evening performance features a joyful retelling of the Christmas story, accompanied by a stunning choir, a majestic 50-piece orchestra, and an iconic celebrity narrator.
It’s impossible not to attend one of these ceremonies and not feel swept away by the magic of Christmas, as each processional brings guests together in the most cozy community of cheer and festivity!

As we mentioned, each show features an appearance by a celebrity narrator, whose job is to guide guests in the Christmas story and help spread the magic to all in attendance. The first processional will take place on November 28th, and will run right through the holidays, ending on December 30th.
For 2025, the impressive lineup of narrators includes celebs such as Garie Sinise, Brendan Fraser, Brie Larson, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and many more — you can read the full schedule right here.

A Nativity Name Change
Now, although the schedule has been set in place for a while, there are always things that can change!
Today, we’ve learned that one celebrity from the lineup has been removed and replaced by an iconic Disney star we’re sure fans will be thrilled to see!

On December 3rd and 4th, Susan Egan will be stepping into the role of narrator for the Candlelight Processional, replacing previously announced host Jennifer Garner.

Originally the voice of Megara in Disney’s Hercules, Susan Egan has just been named the Godmother of the brand-new Disney Destiny ship — making her quite the icon in all aspects of Disney Parks & Experiences right now!
We’ll be thrilled to see her narrate the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT, and we’re sure she’ll do a fabulous job of bringing that festive spirit to Walt Disney World.
