Disney’s Contemporary Gingerbread Display Opens with Sweets, Treats, and More
It is that magical time of year when Walt Disney World transforms into a holiday wonderland complete with stunning decor, tasty treats, festive merchandise, and fantastic gingerbread houses and displays.

We are so excited to check out the first gingerbread house of the season and bring you a first look.
Gingerbread Castle
Starting today, Contemporary’s Gingerbread Castle is open to guests!
This sweet display is back for its 14th year and is located on the resort’s 4th floor.
Created by the talented Contemporary Bakery team, this display is over 17 feet tall and 25 feet wide.
The stunning design is inspired by the Cinderella Castle Dream Lights.
There are so many great details, and guests should keep their eyes open for the 14 hidden Mickeys and the iconic 5-legged goat in the display.
The gingerbread display is assembled by 40 cast members and features over 1200 castle gingerbread bricks, 613 pounds of sugar, 440 jars of honey, and 13 gallons of milk.
That is just the start of all the deliciousness built into the castle, and the impressive stats are listed in front of the castle.
The gingerbread display is visually stunning and looks delicious. This is a great way to kick off the holiday season.
