3D Elements Removed from Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT (& It’s an Upgrade!)
Disney World has many different attractions you can enjoy in the parks, but they do require a decent amount of upkeep. We occasionally see rides shut down for short refurbishments so everything can continue running smoothly!

We also sometimes see rides shut down so changes can be made. And, that’s exactly what has happened over in EPCOT at Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!

Now that the attraction is back open, let’s go take a look at what’s different.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Goes 2D
The 3D elements have been officially removed from Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure!

As you can see, the mention of anything 3D has been removed from the sign at the entrance of the ride.

Here is what the sign looked like previously:

Previously, you had to wear 3D glasses for the entirety of the ride because all of the screens were in 3D.

This caused some issues for people who were prone to motion sickness.

But now, all the 3D elements are gone! You can ride the attraction without any glasses and see everything clearly.

The 2D actually looks incredible; it’s extremely clear. We think this is actually an upgrade!

It should also allow people with motion sickness issues to hopefully enjoy the ride more.

We also noticed that the wheels have been fixed in the kitchen scene to move again!

Finally, there are now paintings at the exit of the ride where the former glasses return area was located.

Make sure to check out the upgraded ride the next time you’re in EPCOT!
