The Disney Cruise Line has received a new infusion of magic, as the Disney Destiny is currently welcoming its first guests on a preview sailing.
For those who may not know, the Destiny is inspired by classic Disney stories and celebrates the heroes and villains that fans have come to know and love.
Over the past couple of days, we have been bringing you updates on the ship’s immersive environments, unique entertainment, and, of course, all the food!

Where To Find Maleficent
When sailing aboard the Disney Destiny, fans have the opportunity to meet the Mistress of Evil herself- Maleficent!
‘Under Her Spell: A Maleficent Encounter’
The easiest place to find Maleficent is the Saga Entertainment lounge on Decks 4 & 5.
Here, the evil door shows off her magical powers in Under Her Spell: A Maleficent Encounter.
After the performance, fans can meet Maleficent and get a picture!
As you can see, the witch is in perfect control of her powers for this show.
The Grand Hall Turns Green
In addition to the Saga Entertainment lounge, Maleficent will also appear in the Destiny’s Grand Hall from time to time.
Here, she transforms the area into a magical green arena.
Needless to say, her powers are quite impressive!
It should be noted that sometimes Maleficent appears on stage and will meet with guests.
Other times, she makes her entrance from the balcony!
Either way, it is pretty cool to see the Mistress of Evil work her magic!
