FIRST LOOK: ‘Sounds of Wakanda’ Brings the Spirit of ‘Black Panther’ to the Disney Destiny
After months of waiting, the Disney Destiny has finally arrived in Port Canaveral, and we here at MickeyBlog could not be more excited!
Over the past couple of days, we have been bringing you updates from aboard the Disney Cruise Line’s latest ship, highlighting the entertainment, environments, restaurants, and merchandise that the vessel has to offer!

Yesterday, we visited Grand Hall to preview the area and The Legend of Loki, a live show performed there.

Now, I want to take you back to the Destiny’s central gathering space for another entertainment preview.
Sounds of Wakanda
Guests sailing aboard the Disney Destiny will have the opportunity to enjoy the all-new Sounds of Wakanda.

Sounds of Wakanda is performed in the Destiny’s Grand Hall.
Performed in the ship’s Grand Hall, the musical celebration features a group of traveling percussionists who perform rhythms inspired by the stories, legends, and culture of Wakanda!

The traveling troupe brings the rhythms of Wakanda to sea.
As the Grand Hall was inspired by Marvel’s Black Panther franchise, it is the perfect setting for Sounds of Wakanda.

Here is another shot of the troupe in action.

Needless to say, if you plan on sailing aboard the Disney Destiny, you will not want to miss the show!

The entertainment offering will be especially popular with Marvel fans. It gives passengers a taste of Wakandan culture while at sea!

If you ask us, it’s a hit!
