The Grand Californian’s “Hot Dog of the Month” is a Flavorsome Feast This November!
The promise of an exclusive, limited-time dish is always going to entice us MickeyBloggers into dining at a Disney establishment, and we sure do love a seasonal treat or two!
This weekend, while enjoying a festive visit to Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa at Disneyland Resort, our reporters stopped by Craftsman Grill for a bite to eat. We know this cozy spot offers a fun “Hot Dog of the Month” option, and November’s dog was waiting for us to give it a try!

“Holy Moley!”
Humorously titled “The Holy Mole Dog,” this November-exclusive treat involves an all-beef hot dog atop a Sadie Rose hot dog bun.
A rich chicken mole adds further meat to the dish, with lime crema, queso fresco, pickled red onions, and cilantro all contributing tasty Mexican flavors. It sounds very unique and enjoyable, and we couldn’t wait to tuck in!

On the side, the dog also comes with a serving of Tajin-seasoned chicharron, which is basically fried, crispy pork rinds. An interesting change from fries, right?
The whole dish costs $17, and makes for a very satisfying lunch here at the Grand Californian!

According to our reporters, this rich hot dog was certainly tasty, offering plenty of flavor and punch on that toasted bun. While the sauce might sound hot, it wasn’t particularly spicy, and the hot dog itself was crispy and delicious.
All in all, this was definitely a treat we’d recommend, proving another “Hot Dog of the Month” hit here at Craftsman Grill!

Last month, the October dog celebrated all things Oktoberfest. We can’t wait to see what Craftsman Grill does with hot dogs in December, and we will look forward to coming back to check out the menu then.
