We’re aboard the Disney Destiny for a preview of the new ship! The newest ship in Disney Cruise Line’s fleet is hitting the high seas starting today, and Disney invited us to check it all out.
We can’t wait to bring you along with us for this exciting journey! So, come with us as the ship sets sail with guests for the first time in a bit of an unusual way.
Disney Destiny Nighttime Sail Away
The Disney Destiny set sail tonight, leaving from Fort Lauderdale. This is an especially unique experience, since most of Disney’s new cruise ships set sail for the first time during the day!
This is the first time we’ve been on a ship that’s setting sail for the first time at night, and it’s really cool!
There was a huge nighttime party out on the deck!
The whole crowd gathered around to enjoy the festivities.
Something very exciting happened to kick things off…
…Spider-Man descended from the top of the ship!
Look at him go!
This was really cool to see in person.
He landed down on the deck for the party.
After that, the celebrations ramped up with some dancing!
Then, Mickey and friends came out to party!
They’re all in their cruise ship attire, obviously.
Everyone was having the best time!
This was the perfect way to set sail for the first time on the Destiny.
And this happening at night just made it even more of a party!
