For fans of Disney Cruise Line, there may be nothing more exciting than a shiny new cruise ship and right now, the big thing on everyone’s mind is the NEW Disney Destiny!
This magical new ship will embark on her maiden voyage later this month on November 20th, 2025. And if you are ready to check out this great new ship, you don’t have to wait any longer to see what’s in store!
This week, MickeyBlog is coming to you LIVE from a preview of the Disney Destiny – and right now, we’re headed to the new Cask & Cannon lounge! Let’s check it out!
Cask & Cannon Aboard the Disney Destiny
Inspired by Disney’s beloved Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, Cask and Cannon is a love letter to treasure, rum, and swashbuckling pirates!
The atmospheric new lounge brings pure pirate energy to the Disney Destiny with rich details, themed décor, and a fun, relaxed atmosphere for guests.
The space features a blend of mismatched furnishings, nautical props, lanterns, rum barrels, and carved wood accents.
Every corner is a nod to the classic attraction and film. Treasure maps, nets, and bold pirate iconography fill the lounge, creating a layered, lived-in look.
Guests will spot themed carvings around the portholes, recalling the iconic burning village scene and distinct lanterns inspired by the Disneyland Paris attraction.

There are a ton of fun details.
There are also regular tables and chairs around here.

It sure looks like it’s fit for some rowdy pirates!
Fans will also see a set of 13 drawers labeled with scenes from pirate-themed areas across the global parks, and plenty of barrels of rum.
Up on the ceiling, you’ll see a bunch of fun things to look at!

Make sure you look up!
But, if you look down, you’ll see the compass in the carpet points to the bar because the rum is the treasure!
This lounge is a great spot for an evening break with a view of the sea and a touch of pirate humor.
Food & Drinks
Cask & Cannon also offers a great beverage menu featuring rare rums, specialty pours, and craft beers specifically designed for the lounge. These three beers were made just for the Disney Destiny!

For food, you can get things like Buffalo wings, plant-based chicken tenders, loaded potato puffs, and a German Pretzel.
You can also get Friend Coconut Shrimp and Prawn Crackers, The Cask and Cannon Pub Platter, Bangers and Mash, and Fish and Chips.
There is also Jon Ashton’s “Jolly Good” Burger!
