Egan, of course, was the original Belle in the Broadway production of Beauty and the Beast.
Additionally, she voiced Megra in Disney’s Hercules.

As the Disney Destiny draws inspiration from Hercules, among other films, Egan was the perfect choice for the ship’s Godmother.
“My reaction to being told that I would be the Godmother for the Disney Destiny is beyond. I mean, talk about the coolest role I could ever hope to play!” Egan said in the video.

“The ship is something that is going to carry people physically and emotionally through wonderful adventures.”
