FIRST LOOK: Come See the Disney Destiny’s Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King With Us
If you have been reading along here at MickeyBlog today, you know that we are finally aboard the Disney Destiny!
With the latest Disney Cruise Line vessel set to officially be christened, we had the opportunity to climb aboard, and we are taking you with us!

Throughout the afternoon, we have toured the Cask and Cannon, the Sanctum, and De Vil’s.

Now, it is time for a trip to the African savanna for Pride Lands: Feast of the Lion King!

A unique experience at Disney Destiny, Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King, allows guests to enter the Circle of Life and celebrate Simba’s story!
The Journey Begins
The story begins as guests walk down the corridor towards the main dining area.

As the savanna grass surrounds the walkway, anticipation builds.

After making their way down the corridor, guests reach the entrance area.

Simba’s presence was felt before we even got inside.

Finally, it was time to enter the main dining room!

The Dining Room
As guests walk in, authentic African instruments are highlighted.

They are so cool.

The dining room is inspired by the African savanna with unique depictions of animals showcased around the area.

As guests dine, the natural world is brought to life around them through special effects and lighting.

The back wall is lined with large windows that transform from sunrises to sunsets throughout the meal.
Live Entertainment
The center of the restaurant features tiered risers that mimic the look of African drums.

During intervals throughout the meal, the musical performers will perform the iconic songs from the movie using authentic African instruments and theatrical props to represent the story and characters.

You can expect to see:
- Productions of “Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata”
- A medley of “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Be Prepared”
- An instrumental version of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” paired with an interpretive dance
- A moving rendition of “He Lives in You” from the sequel film and Broadway show.
