Brrr! Cold Front Hitting Disney World Overnight!
Brrrr! Orlando is not used to weather like this, and a significant change is expected overnight! Guests visiting Disney World are waking up to a major shift this week.
Cold air is moving in fast, and temperatures are dropping across Central Florida. If you are heading to the theme parks, pack layers and prepare for cooler temps.

Cold Weather is Coming
If you are lucky enough to be visiting the Disney theme parks today, you noticed that this morning started mild with temps in the 70s, but it is breezy and dropping into the 60s by afternoon.

The sharpest cooldown hits overnight when temperatures drop into the 30s and 40s. Wind gusts reach 25 to 30 mph, which means real feel temps in the 20s and 30s early Tuesday.
The coldest point arrives between 6 a.m. and 7 a.m. Tuesday. Orlando is under a cold weather advisory between 2 a.m. and 9 a.m.

Orlando and the rest of Central Florida dip into the upper 30s and low 40s, with wind chills remaining the biggest factor, especially in wide-open areas across the parks.
Record lows are possible in the Orlando area:
- Record cold high: 61° (1913) – Our forecast high: 57°
- Record cold low: 39° (1932) – Our forecast low: 36°
It’s actually so cold that Typhoon Lagoon water park will not be open tomorrow in Disney World!
Warming Up
The good news is that the cold weather is short-lived. Wednesday starts out cold but warms to the upper 60s and low 70s.
By Thursday and Friday, temps climb back up into the mid-70s. Saturday and Sunday will bring low 80s and plenty of sunshine, creating perfect park weather again.

Magic Kingdom
The weather is definitely fluctuating this week, so be sure to follow your favorite weather app and dress in layers.
