MickeyBlog News for November 10th, 2025
The holidays have arrived at Disney theme parks, even more than last week!
We’ll discuss all the changes we’ve tracked and what’s about to happen next plus much more.

This is one of my favorite weeks each year in MickeyBlob News. Grab some eggnog and please join me!
Happy Holidays!

Okay, I don’t know how you handle the holiday season, but I’m pretty hardcore.
Christmas gifts have already been exchanged, one of which proved accidentally funny.

One of my dearest friends received his Vladimir Guerrero Jr. jersey…the day after the World Series. Whoops!
Alas, we had to cancel our most recent Walt Disney World vacation, which is important here.

In a perfect world, you’d be looking at some of the pictures we took at Disney this past week.
Alas, our always-exceptional reporters are doing the heavy lifting here as they track all the holiday changes.

I referenced some last week, but Disney went HARD since we last spoke.
Here’s Magic Kingdom, and here’s Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Those pictures were from the first day of Cast Members posting this year’s decorations.
By November 5th, Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios had put up their Christmas trees.

For the record, they beat me, and I’m a bit salty about it. We got ours ready yesterday.
That is super-slow for my family, which explains why I love Disney so much during the first week of November.

Disney doesn’t mess around here. As soon as the calendar says November, it’s go time!
That goes for Disneyland as well. And we tracked so much more at Disney World last week, too.

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Tree of Life Awakenings has returned to make the holidays a bit more magical.
We also learned the full list of foods and beverages coming to the parks over the next few days.

That’s not all, either! We also know which hotels will host gingerbread displays by next week.
In addition, Jingle Cruise is back up and running again, providing plenty of Yuletide joy.

For the next two months, we get an entirely different set of puns!

Frozen Holiday Surprise
Of course, those of you who miss the main version will be happy to know when it’ll return in 2026.
On a different holiday note, Frozen Holiday Surprise returned on Friday.

One of my favorite recent memories at Disney happened during this event.
A group of people were standing around the Castle Courtyard when a stranger approached me.

Cinderella Castle
He was pushing his stroller as he asked me why everyone was just standing there.
When I informed him that something special was about to happen, he happily grabbed his wife and other child.

The four of them gleefully watched a show they didn’t even know existed.
That night provided a perfect moment captured in time…and that’s Disney during the holidays in a nutshell.

Not coincidentally, people flock to Disney at this time of year, as demonstrated by the party sales.
All Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates in November have now sold out.

You can still book a few dates in December as I type this, but availability is tight.
If you hope to attend this year’s event, I implore you to reach out to MickeyTravels.

These Authorized Disney Vacation Planners know all the remaining dates and can secure you a ticket.
Best of all, MickeyTravels agents offer their services free of charge even though they’re Diamond Earmarked.

Finally, I realize that times are tough for many people right now, which is why I’m mentioning this.
The Disney Store is offering Toys for Tots deals using the code Ohana.

So, you can save 25 percent in shipping gifts to children in need this holiday season.
If you can help, your $20-$30 can make a stranger’s Christmas more magical.

The Perch
Management has completed the total overhaul of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
MickeyBlog brought you a first look at the new interior as well as a surprise.

The Perch, a brand new bar, will open tomorrow, November 10th! Have a drink on me.
Speaking of drinking, let’s talk EPCOT! Specifically, we’ll discuss an upcoming festival.

Disney just revealed the lineup for the most popular part of the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts.
Remember to book that dining package I just linked. Otherwise, you WILL get shut out.

All these concerts sell out, and some people wait in line all day just to see the show.
Back at Animal Kingdom, Zootopia: Better Zoogether! is using a virtual queue for its passholder previews.

Plus, Nick and Judy will participate in character greetings by the attraction.
Speaking of character greetings, here’s where you’ll meet Santa at Hollywood Studios this year.

At Disneyland, we’ve got two huge updates for fans of the classics. First, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad reopened quite a bit earlier than expected.
Here’s a video of the new version of the roller coaster we all love so much:
After you’ve finished enjoying that, you should know that another ride returns next week.
Storybook Land Canal Boats will introduce its new Tangled scene when it reopens.

So, there’s a lot happening at The Happiest Place on Earth.
Shanghai Disneyland is doing pretty well, too. This park will expand soon!

Finally, here’s a first look at the cross sections of the Disney Destiny, which debuts soon.
The new cruise ship embarks on its maiden voyage on November 20th.
