Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps Meet-and-Greet Debuts at Animal Kingdom
Disney’s Animal Kingdom is brimming with excitement this morning as Zootopia: Better Zoogether! is now officially open.
With the latest Disney 4D film now entertaining guests in the Tree of Life Theater, Zootopia is now more prevalent at the park than ever before.
Earlier today, we brought you updates on the Better Zoogether merchandise that has arrived at Animal Kingdom, and the new Zoogether Day popcorn bucket!
Now, however, I want to turn your attention back to Discovery Island, where the other new Zootopia experience has debuted!
Meet Nick and Judy in The Gathering Spot
In conjunction with the opening of Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps are now meeting guests in The Gathering Spot!
To ensure as many guests as possible meet Nick and Judy today, The Gathering Spot is currently using a virtual queue.
However, to join the queue, guests do not use the My Disney Experience app.
Instead, you must check in at the meet-and-greet location and provide your name and number to a Cast Member.
This may be a temporary process for their debut, but we’ll keep checking to keep you updated.
When it is your turn to meet Nick and Judy, you receive a text notification.
The Gathering Spot
Inside the Gathering Spot, Nick and Judy meet in front of a beautiful Zoogether Day mural.
As you can see, there are numerous other props in the area.

Hopps Family Farm even provided carrots.
