WATCH: Percy Sets Out To Find the Golden Fleece in ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Season 2 Trailer

Audiences will finally get the chance to return to Camp Half-Blood next month, when Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians premieres on Disney+.

Based on the Rick Riordan young adult series, Percy Jackson and the Olympians follows the adventures of 12-year-old demigod Percy Jackson. The young hero is just coming to grips with his divine powers when Zeus accuses him of stealing his master lightning bolt. To clear his name, Percy sets out on an adventure.

A Massive Hit For Disney

Since premiering in December 2023, Percy Jackson has been an undeniable hit for Disney+. It has also influenced the streamer to develop other young adult series.

Sea of Monsters

Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians will adapt the second novel in the series, Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters.

This time around, Percy will set out to find the Golden Fleece.

“After Camp Half-Blood’s protective border is breached, Percy Jackson embarks on an epic odyssey into the Sea of Monsters in search of his best friend Grover and the one thing that may save the camp — the legendary Golden Fleece,” the season synopsis reads.

“With help from Annabeth, Clarisse and his newfound cyclops half-brother Tyson, Percy’s survival becomes essential to stopping Luke, the Titan Kronos, and their impending plan to bring down Camp Half-Blood — and ultimately, Olympus.”
