The Disney Accelerator’s 2025 Demo Day Showcases Experimental Technology From Four Companies
The Walt Disney Company hosted the 2025 Disney Accelerator Demo Day, showcasing innovation in immersive experiences and storytelling from this year’s participants- Animaj, DramaBox, Haddy, and LIMINAL Space.
During the Demo Day event, Disney executives and company founders discussed the use of cutting-edge technologies to enhance storytelling and experiences across Disney’s businesses.

Here is what we learned.
Animaj
The event kicked off with next-generation media company Animaj sharing its vision for developing digital-first global content tailored to kids across platforms.
Animaj’s goal is to “empower artists to leverage AI to accelerate production workflows while ensuring creators drive the storytelling and quality.”

As part of the Disney Accelerator, Animaj is exploring opportunities with Disney Branded Television and Disney Television Studios to create new shorts.
DramaBox
DramaBox, a global leader in vertical short-form entertainment, also presented at Demo Day, announcing that they are in discussions with Disney Publishing about adapting young adult fantasy novels into original microdramas for Disney platforms.

Additionally, DramaBox and Disney Music are exploring ways to adapt albums into vertical video shorts!
Haddy
The next company to present was Haddy, an AI-powered industrial 3D-printing factory, which showcased how technology can quickly transform spaces for creative uses.

Haddy is collaborating with Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development to develop select props and set pieces for the Disney Parks.

Additionally, the company is exploring new applications for its technology across the company as part of the Disney Accelerator program.
LIMINAL Space
Last but certainly not least, we have LIMINAL Space, a developer of groundbreaking holographic 3D LED displays.

During Demo Day, they shared their modular Ghost Tile and Spirit Tile technologies, which can transform any environment into a state-of-the-art immersive experience.
Recently, the company collaborated with Industrial Light and Magic to bring Rocket Raccoon to Life.

LIMINAL Space is now exploring potential applications of its technology with Walt Disney Imagineering Research & Development and Disney Experiences to create new experiences and enhance existing attractions.
