ALL of the Holiday Festivities Coming to Shanghai Disney Resort!
The holiday season is basically here! Well, it is if you’re going to be in the Disney Parks soon.
Decorations are going up around Disney World, but the international Disney Parks are getting in on the spirit of the season, too! Let’s check out what’s going on at Shanghai Disney Resort this holiday season.
The Holidays at Shanghai Disney Resort
The Disney Winter Frostival is returning to Shanghai Disney Resort from November 7th, 2025, through March 3rd, 2026!
Winter Wonderland
The entire resort will be transformed this year with brand-new holiday decor, including a new Christmas tree that will come to life every night! It will be in the Gardens of Imagination and taller than ever before, topped with a sparkling star.

There will also be a troupe of new snow statues that will make their debut along Mickey Avenue and the Gardens of Imagination! These are inspired by Mickey, Minnie, and friends and feature nods to each character’s signature style, like Minnie’s polka dots and Donald’s sailor hat.

You will also be able to find popular ice statues throughout the park that will have new friends and characters this year. And, a brand-new winter social wall will have imagery of Mickey, Minnie, and Duffy and Friends as they enjoy a magic snow day!

Fan-Favorite Entertainment
Get ready for some fun entertainment this holiday season! “Mickey’s Snow Magic” will fill Mickey Avenue with a flurry of falling snow, themed music, and projections of Disney classic stores featuring Mickey, Minnie, and Snowies.

We will also see the return of “Disney Winter Magic Cavalcade” with glittering floats and Disney friends in their seasonal outfits! At night, “A Celebration of Disney Winter Frostival” will bring the Enchanted Storybook Castle and Gardens of Imagination to life with lights, sounds, and projections to tell beloved Disney tales.

Birthday Celebrations
A week-long birthday celebration will be held from November 12th through 18th, 2025, to celebrate Mickey and Minnie! There will be daily performances from the Shanghai Disneyland Band in front of Enchanted Storybook Castle.

Then, following each evening nighttime spectacular, Mickey and Minnie’s Birthday Celebration Castle Projection “Best Wishes” will light up the sky with fireworks and picturesque scenes leading up to the grand finale on November 18th.
Disney Friends
A bunch of Disney characters will be wearing their winter best this season, including Winnie the Pooh and Friends in their new winter looks featuring natural, textured fabrics! Mickey and Friends and Duffy and Friends will also be in their holiday outfits.

Festive Food
A variety of festive treats will be available around the resort, like holiday-themed donuts and cookies, as well as festive muffins!

At Royal Banquet Hall and Aurora at Shanghai Disneyland Hotel, you will find a selection of dishes that celebrate the flavors of winter.

And, Lumière’s Kitchen Christmas Season Dinner Buffet offers a festive feast filled with mouthwatering delicacies!

Winter Merchandise Collections
New winter collections are coming to the resort this season! We can expect to see the Mickey and Friends Christmas Waltz Collection, Duffy and Friends Snowy Pals Collection, and other winter collections inspired by Winnie the Pooh and Friends, as well as Lilo & Stitch and Zootopia.
