It’s always a fun day in Disney World when a new attraction opens!

Well, we’re a little early, but we’re here to give you a preview of Animal Kingdom’s NEW attraction — Zootopia: Better Zoogether!
Zootopia: Better Zoogether Preview
Zootopia: Better Zoogether has taken over the former It’s Tough to Be a Bug! show in Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Located in the Tree of Life Theater, the reinvented attraction is a 4D show featuring a story about the citizens of Zootopia coming together for Zoogether Day.

Zootopia: Better Zoogether
The attraction officially opens on November 7, 2025, but we were fortunate to attend a preview today to check it out!

Zootopia: Better Zoogether
Better Zoogether will be generally open daily from park open to park close, and it’s about an 8-minute-long show.

The queue features all kinds of nods to Zootopia, like this lamp with silhouettes of various Zootopia characters.

There is also decor on the walls, like this Zoogether Day LIVE! poster…

…a Carrot Vision sign…

…and a Marshmaids poster.

Even the 3D glasses had a Hopps Family Farm sign!
Note that this is a 3D show, so you do need to wear the glasses to see it properly.

The story itself is about Zoogether Day, a “celebration of unity” of all the biomes across Zootopia, with performances from Tundratown ice skaters, Marsh Market synchronized swimmers, Little Rodentia drone shows, and more.

The finale is performed by Gazelle, of course!

We felt like 8 minutes was the right amount of time for the show. It was just enough to enjoy the characters of Zootopia without dragging out the story.

The audience really seemed to enjoy the show too, with lots of laughs!

Some of the 4D special effects included gusts of wind, spraying mist, and more.
Also, yes, they did keep the special effect of the scurrying feeling under your seat from It’s Tough to Be a Bug — but this time it’s caused by mice.

There’s also an Audio-Animatronic of Clawhauser, which was a fun addition!

Zootopia: Better Zoogether
Overall, we thought this was a super fun addition to Animal Kingdom. It’s great for families and kids of all ages, not to mention an excellent way to escape the heat on a hot Florida day. We expect this to be a big hit!
