PHOTOS: New Window Displays Block Construction at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Resort
If you’re a regular reader here at MickeyBlog, you already know how much we adore Disney’s Wilderness Lodge.
Inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, this resort offers cozy interiors, top-notch amenities, and plenty of rustic charm. Add in its prime location, and it’s easy to see why the Lodge remains such a fan favorite!
Over the past 18 months, Disney has given Wilderness Lodge extra attention through a series of refurbishments.
The last time we checked in, scaffolding had been erected inside the resort and new carpets had made their debut.
Now, we are back with another update!
Construction Continues on the Resort’s Exterior
When we visited Disney’s Wilderness Lodge today, we noticed that the construction scaffolding had shifted as work on the hotel’s exterior continued.
Here is another look at the exterior work being done.
As you can see, this is a significant project and the work is extensive.
Nearby, the walkway has been closed to facilitate the construction.

New Window Coverings
Elsewhere, the windows have been covered to block the construction work from inside the lobby.
Here is another angle from outside.
Inside the lobby, the windows feature silhouettes of trees.
As you can see, the window coverings maintain the ambiance of Disney’s Wilderness Resort as the work continues outside.
The windows look great!
A sign near the entrance reads “Please Pardon Our Pixie Dust, This Area is Being Refurbished For Our Future Enjoyment.”
Exterior Painting
In addition to exterior construction, painting is also underway.
The completed area looks great.
Clearly, however, there is more work to do.
