Initially announced in March 2022 as a replacement for the ESPN Zone, the opening of The Cake Bake Shop was a long time coming.
For years, we watched as the structure slowly but surely came to life.
Finally opening on October 29, 2024, The Cake Bake Shop has delighted guests ever since.

As crazy as it seems, The Cake Bake Shop is officially celebrating its 1st anniversary today!

To celebrate, Gwendolyn Rogers took to Instagram to share a special message to fans.
Thanking guests for supporting The Cake Bake Shop at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort during its first year of operation, Rogers celebrated with champagne, pixie dust, and, of course, a cake!

“This year was filled with plenty of cakes, magical moments, and the sweetest memories. Thank you for making our first year a dream come true. Here’s to many more years ahead,” the post was captioned.
