Meet Rachel McGiver! Rachel is a custodial cast member and talented trainer, known for perfecting “over 120 different characters” using only water and a broom.
“The first time I ever saw anything Disney was The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” she said. “I must have been four or five years old. From that moment, I knew I wanted my whole life to be Disney.”

That early spark turned into a lifelong passion for storytelling. Rachel began her career at Disneyland Resort in April 2018 and quickly became a master of her craft.
Guests often stop to watch as “a simple splash of water transforms into a favorite character.” From Joy of Inside Out to Stitch of Lilo & Stitch, Rachel brings your Disney faves to life in a unique way.

Sometimes, she adds a personal touch. “I was drawing Piglet once, and it happened to be his birthday that day,” Rachel shared. “I love sharing little character facts while I draw, it makes the interaction feel more personal.”

Rachel loves connecting with her guests, and her secret to creating happiness is simple. “Stay positive, stay humble, and have fun with what you do.”
