Spaceship Earth Has OFFICIALLY Reopened at EPCOT
World Celebration is brimming with excitement this morning, as Spaceship Earth has officially reopened after a two-month refurbishment.
As we previously reported, EPCOT’s signature attraction closed on August 25th for a “routine refurbishment.”

The attraction then surprisingly soft-opened late last week, giving us the chance to see what Disney had been working on.

Spaceship Earth at EPCOT
Now, Spaceship Earth has officially reopened in all its glory, meaning fans can count on the fact that the attraction will be open during their visit to EPCOT.
What Changed During the Refurbishment
While Spaceship Earth itself did not undergo many significant changes during its two-month refurbishment, the attraction now looks better than it has in years.

During the downtime, Disney restored many of the attraction’s effects, creating a more enjoyable experience.
Following the refurbishment, the Phoenician boats are rocking again, the Woolly Mammoth projections look sharp, and animatronics throughout the attraction are moving more fluidly.

The more noticeable changes, however, come outside of the attraction.
Entrance Signs and Project Tomorrow
As we previously reported, the Spaceship Earth entrance sign is glowing again for the first time in a long time.

Additionally, Project Tomorrow has been refreshed and looks better than ever.
All in all, it is great to see Spaceship Earth cleaned up and running again.

After all, no trip to EPCOT is complete without a time-traveling adventure through history.
