Discover the Incredible Easter Eggs Hidden Inside Disney’s Real-Life Parr House

At Cotino, the first Storyliving by Disney community located in Rancho Mirage, California, Walt Disney Imagineers have brought Pixar’s Incredibles 2 to life in fun new ways.

The new Parr House is a mid-century modern home filled with intricate design touches, clever theming, and a lot of fun!

Created as a unique amenity for Artisan Club members, the Parr House is a space for celebrations, gatherings, or overnight stays. The location is perfect for fans and is filled with some fun Pixar Easter eggs to elevate the experience.

Let’s check out the cool props and clever eggs hidden throughout!

Hidden Pixar Details

Imagineering Senior Architect Caleb Wild shared, “Parr House is a caricature of mid-century modern architecture. Our goal was to exaggerate that aesthetic in a way that told an overtly Disney story while still fitting stylistically within the community.”

When guests enter the home, they’ll instantly recognize nods to the Parr family’s animated world. Check out the impressive rockwork fireplace or the yellow laminate kitchen cabinets straight out of The Incredibles 2.

Even better? Imagineers partnered with Pixar to produce props that layer in special details from the film. Here are a few highlights:

• Cereal Boxes: Look closely in the kitchen and you’ll spot Fiber O’s and Sugar Bombs – the same breakfast cereals eaten by the Parr family in the film.

• Family Bulletin Board: Outside the kitchen hangs a calendar featuring events like Dash’s track meet and Bob and Helen’s date night -all written in their own handwriting.

• Postcards & Flyers: Below are postcards from Nomanisan Island and The Safari Motel, plus a flyer for The Happy Platter.

• Jack-Jack’s Bookshelf: The baby’s room includes Doozles Are Dozing, the bedtime story that puts Bob to sleep.

• Dash’s Desk: A copy of New Math for Life is ready for the next tutoring session.

• Edna Mode’s Suite: Hallway magazine covers celebrate Edna’s fashion empire. “When we were creating the list of props, we were inspired by which character would inspire each room,” said Lorenzo Salazar, Senior Interior Designer. “Of course we had to include covers that featured Edna herself.”

The home also features an art studio celebrating creativity! It is complete with a framed vinyl record titled Mr. Incredible Sings.

Salazar shared, “I think all of our Disney touches throughout the Artisan Club, and especially the Parr House, really elevate the inspiration that I hope people will feel when they’re at Cotino.”

The Parr House offers an amazing experience and perfectly showcases Disney’s amazing storytelling. The Walt Disney Imagineers have truly brought this super family to life.
