Disney Taps Rochelle Knock To Lead Its Sub-Saharan Africa Business
The Walt Disney Company has tapped Rochelle Knock to lead its sub-Saharan Africa business.
As vice president for Disney+ & Networks and Country Head for sub-Saharan Africa, Kock will replace Christine Service, who is leaving the company’s South Africa unit.

According to Deadline, she will “lead the direct-to-consumer business, the family and factual linear networks, support and partner with Disney’s platform distribution team, and support business development of the business at a regional EMEA level.”
“An Important Milestone”
In her new position, she will report to Simon Amselem, Senior Vice President, Direct-to-Consumer & Networks, and Country Manager Iberia and Sub-Saharan Africa.

Knock’s Previous Experience
Before joining Disney, Knock worked at the South African Yoco Technologies, where she most recently served as Head of Customer Value Management.
