Disney Has Renewed ‘Project Runway’ For Season 22

Earlier this year, Freeform got a much-needed infusion of content when Season 21 of Project Runway debuted on the station.

After airing on Bravo and Lifetime for its first 20 seasons, the fashion-based reality series made the jump to Disney, where it aired on cable before heading to Hulu and Disney+ the next day. In addition to its new home, the series saw the return of Heidi Klum.

Needless to say, anticipation for Season 21 was high.

‘Project Runway’ Delivered

While the exact ratings that Project Runway delivered are not clear, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the season averaged 252,000 same-day viewers. Additionally, it was a constant presence in Hulu’s “Top 15 Today.”

Whatever the ratings were for Season 21 of Project Runway, Disney was apparently pleased.

The Series Has Been Renewed

Today, the company announced that the reality show has been renewed for a 22nd season, and will once again air on Freeform, before heading to Disney+ and Hulu the next day.

The upcoming season of Project Runway will also see judges Heidi Klum, Nina Garcia, Law Rocah, and Christian Siriano return for another high-stakes competition.

When Will Season 22 Debut?

While Disney has not announced an official debut date for Season 22 of Project Runway, the series will return in 2026.
