Trilo-Bites and Dino-Bite Snacks Close at Disney’s Animal Kingdom; Harambe Market Refurbishment Begins
If you have been reading along at MickeyBlog this year, you know that the countdown to extinction is winding down on DinoLand, U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
As announced at 2024’s D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, the land will soon be demolished to make way for Tropical Americas.

The new land will transport guests to Pueblo Esperanza, where they will find attractions based on Indiana Jones and Encanto.
DinoLand is Closing in Phases
To give fans the opportunity to say goodbye to DinoLand, U.S.A., the area will close in phases. In January, the ball got rolling with the demolition of Chester and Hester’s Dino-Rama.

Then, last month, The Boneyard closed.

Now, two more DinoLand locales have closed.
Trilo-Bites and Dino-Bite Snacks Go Extinct
As expected, both Trilo-Bites and Dino-Bite Snacks have officially closed in DinoLand, U.S.A.

While neither stand was the most popular dining location in Animal Kingdom, both were great places to get a quick bite to eat.

Once upon a time, Trilo-Bites even sold McDonald’s fries!

Now the stands are a part of Disney history.

Harambe Market Refurbishment Begins
In addition to the two DinoLand locations, the Harambe Market has also closed.

The popular dining spot is currently being refurbished, however, and will reopen next year.

When it returns, Harambe Market will take over Restaurantosaurus’ menu, providing guests with a place to grab a burger during the Tropical Americas construction.

The eatery is expected to reopen on February 2, 2026.
