Cute Holiday Droids Roll into Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland
During the holidays, most people want to put up a lush tree, adorn it with sparkling ornaments, and deck the halls with all kinds of pretty tidings and trimmings.
Not us, however. Oh no – we want to see cutie little droids rolling around, beeping out carols and projecting out holograms of wintery scenes!

Thankfully – while we can’t find an actual holiday R2-series to keep us company this December – Droid Depot in Disneyland have just released a cute selection of new droid merchandise sure to leave us feeling merry and mechanical. Let’s go check them out!
R2-H15 Remote Control Droid
The first droid we spotted is this interactive, remote-controlled, and simply adorable droid toy.
Named R2-H15, this cute astromech is white with festive hints of red, green, and gold… and he’s even sporting a dashing Santa hat, too!
This droid costs $129.99, and we think it’d make a truly awesome holiday gift for any Star Wars fan. We’ve already spotted this over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but we’re so excited to see it roll into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland now, too!
R2-D2 Cookie Jar
Of course, it wouldn’t be the holidays without a cookie or several! This second item we have to show you is a fun, R2-D2-shaped cookie canister, which costs $49.99.
Just imagine filling this up with wookiee cookies and passing them round family during a holiday get-together!
R2-D2 Holiday Ornament
If you like your droids a bit smaller, this truly adorable R2-D2 ornament will surely leave you smiling.
Costing $26.99, the ornament features R2 sporting a gorgeous holiday wreath, and he even has some shiny golden tips on his “feet”, too!
