Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Closes Next Month to Remove 3D Features!
When it comes to Walt Disney World, nothing is certain except change!
That’s right–Disney World is constantly changing, with the parks currently experiencing the biggest batch of updates we’ve seen in some time. DinoLand, U.S.A. is going extinct, the Rivers of America has dried up, Muppets Courtyard is history, and Animation Courtyard is being reanimated.
But the resort is not just experiencing major park changes! Let’s check out the refurbishment that will have motion-sick guests rejoicing.
Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure Refurbishment
Disney World’s webpage for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure was updated to reveal a “short downtime” lasting from November 10th through November 13th, 2025.
This temporary closure allows Disney to enhance the digital visuals to provide clearer imagery in 2D! New props and lighting changes will also be added to the queue and attraction in the coming months.
This is huge for guests prone to motion sickness (myself included). While some fans adore 3D imagery, finding it more immersive, others have to avoid attractions with 3D features altogether, as it makes them sick.
The shift to 2D will hopefully make it so all fans can stomach the ride!
We’re excited to see what the new visuals will look like, and of course, we’ll bring you with us when we check out the changes.
