Disney Lorcana Unveils “Whispers in the Well” with New Cards and Boost Feature
Get ready, Ilumineers! There is a new way to experience Disney Lorcana, and it’s coming this fall. The world of Disney Lorcana is expanding, and fans are ready for something new.
Disney Lorcana is taking the game to “eerie new depths” this fall with Whispers in the Well. The newest set from Ravensburger introduces an entirely new classification of cards, mysterious “Whispers,” and a strategic Boost mechanic that promises to change the game in big ways.
What is Disney Lorcana?

Disney Lorcana is a collectible trading card game that launched in 2023 and quickly built a huge fanbase. Players take on the role of an Illumineer, using six magical inks to summon “Glimmers” (reimagined versions of your favorite Disney characters).
Lorcana creates a modern, family-friendly card game with Disney’s storytelling magic and it continues to expand.

Whispers in the Well is the latest release, and it brings a haunting twist. Whispers are a new variant of Glimmers — half-formed Disney characters drawn from damaged lorebook pages.
They may look familiar yet unsettling, and they are only partially formed. To unlock their full abilities, players must master the new Boost mechanic, which adds a strategic layer to the game.
Fans will also find three new Super Rare Whisper cards debuting in this set! The best part? You get a first look:

The Whispers in the Well pre-release begins at select Disney Store locations and game stores on November 7, and will be available for purchase everywhere starting November 14.
