The Walt Disney Company Celebrates 102 Years of Magic, Memories, and More
102 years ago, Walt Disney arrived in California with nothing more than an outlandish dream of making quality cartoons.
Leaning heavily on his brief experiences in Kansas City and the business acumen of his older brother Roy, Walt signed an agreement with a distributor for his Alice Comedies, and what would eventually become The Walt Disney Company was born.

For over a century now, Disney has created the characters, told the stories, and delivered the magic that has become beloved by generations of fans around the world.

These days, Disney is the premier name in entertainment, with iconic brands such as Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Studios.

Perhaps even more impactfully, the Disney Parks have become the setting for decades of cherished memories with family, friends, and loved ones.
