Kate McKinnon Joins ‘Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Season 3
While fans still have to wait a few more months for Season 2 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians to debut on Disney+, work is already underway on Season 3.
Expected to arrive in 2026, Season 3 of Percy Jackson will adapt The Titan’s Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan’s wildly popular Percy Jackson & the Olympians series.

Earlier this year, Disney announced that Dafne Keen had been cast as Artemis, the goddess of the hunt and moon. Saara Chaudry, meanwhile, will play Zoe Nightshade, a Hunter of Artemis.

Now, we can add another star to the Season 3 cast.
Kate McKinnon Will Play Aphrodite
According to a new report from Deadline, Kate McKinnon will portray Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty, in Percy Jackson Season 3.

According to her character’s description, Aphrodite can “alter her appearance depending on the beholder” and “must be sure that Percy Jackson (Walker Scobell) respects the power and importance of love before she agrees to offer aid on his quest.”
McKinnon, of course, is best known for her 10-year run on Saturday Night Live. Over the course of her tenure, she earned 10 Emmy nominations.

Her other credits include the 2016 Ghostbusters reboot and 2023’s Barbie.
When Will Season 3 Debut?
While Disney has not yet announced when Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 will debut on Disney+, production on the season is now underway in Vancouver.
