Walt Disney World Wait Times for Second Week of October 2025
Halloween season has officially arrived at Walt Disney World.
We’re in the middle of October, and the crowds are overflowing with excitement.

Everyone knows that All Hallows’ Eve has almost arrived, and we’re ready to celebrate.
So, you should be hitting Spirit Halloween this week and then hopefully heading to Disney.

Magic Kingdom
Have the crowds risen accordingly? Let’s find out!
Here are Walt Disney World’s wait times for the second week of October 2025.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom

DINOSAUR
In the previous batch of wait times, we tracked one of the lowest weeks ever at Animal Kingdom.
I had contrasted that data to an early September low that seemed impossible to throw under.

Expedition Everest
Well, Animal Kingdom somehow did that during late September and early October.
Has the attendance increased over the past week? Here are Animal Kingdom’s average wait times:

Lightning Lane
- Avatar Flight of Passage – 70 minutes, up 26
- Na’vi River Journey – 58 minutes, up 25
- Kilimanjaro Safaris – 41 minutes, up 24
- Expedition Everest – 38 minutes, up 21
- Adventurers Outpost – 34 minutes, up 8
- DINOSAUR – 22 minutes, up 9

Tree of Life
Welcome back, Animal Kingdom crowds! This park averaged a wait of 44 minutes.
Folks, that’s an increase of 20 minutes or 83 percent. So, yeah. Last week was an anomaly.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Of course, Animal Kingdom’s a bit of an outlier right now at Disney World.
The other parks could feasibly behave quite differently, especially Hollywood Studios.

This park is currently experiencing every bit as much construction as Animal Kingdom.
Therefore, the number of closed areas could act as a deterrent for some guests.

I absolutely do not expect that to happen, as I know that Muppets Courtyard and Animation Courtyard weren’t draws.
If they had been, Disney wouldn’t have closed them. Still, we must consider all possibilities.

Final Look at Animation Courtyard

Overall, Hollywood Studios attractions averaged a wait of 49 minutes, which is 15 minutes more than last time.
What a difference a week makes…
EPCOT

We’re still in the middle of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival.
For those of you who don’t know, this is Disney’s most recognized of all its splendid festivals.
Spaceship Earth in EPCOT
Park officials pushed back the dates a bit, starting in 2024, which has made it more of a fall event.
Disney did this to increase the crowds, which clearly didn’t work in September.

Final Thoughts

Halloween in Disney World
Overall, Magic Kingdom guests stood in line for an average of 33 minutes per attraction.
That’s an increase of 11 minutes or 50 percent from last time, and it’s the story of the week, really.

Test Track Crowds
All four Disney World theme parks increased their attendance to the point that it’s like September never happened.
Disney World’s parks averaged a wait of 43 minutes, which is 15 minutes more than the previous week.

That’s an increase of 54 percent in just one week, which reflects the oddity of the prior data.
Friends, if you can visit Disney World in September or early October, you should go.

Based on 2025 alone, it’s one of the best values you can get on a Disney vacation.
You can do 50 percent more because the lines are so minimal compared to the rest of the year.
