WATCH: Simon Williams Sets Out To Be a Star in First ‘Wonder Man’ Trailer

After years of releasing content at a breakneck speed, Marvel Studios has slowed things down in 2025.

Following the release of The Fantastic Four: First Steps last July, fans will have to wait until Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into theaters on July 31, 2026, for the next MCU big screen adventure.

On streaming, this year saw the release of Daredevil: Born Again and Ironheart. The prevailing notion was that the year would conclude with Wonder Man.

‘Wonder Man’ Has Been Delayed

Unfortunately, fans are going to have to wait until January 27, 2026, for that series to arrive.

At San Diego Comic-Con today, Marvel Studios announced that Wonder Man will not debut on Disney+ until next year.

For those who may not be up to speed, Wonder Man is an eight-episode series that will introduce Simon Williams to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

While fans will have to wait a bit longer for Wonder Man to arrive, we finally have the first trailer for the upcoming series!

The First Trailer

In the first clip for the series, fans are introduced to Simon Williams, a struggling actor who sets out to play Wonder Man in a big-budget movie.

While auditioning, Simon meets Trever Slattery, who has apparently returned to acting after falsely portraying The Mandarin in Iron Man 3, and teaming up with Shang-Chi. 

Interestingly, the first trailer does not mention Simon getting any superpowers. That twist, however, will surely be forthcoming.
