Here’s How Disney World Is Preparing for the Closure of Trilo-Bites, Dino-Bite Snacks, and Restaurantosaurus
A lot is happening around the Disney World Resort!
The resort is preparing to welcome exciting additions like Piston Peak, the Tropical Americas, and a Monsters, Inc. land. But these new projects come at a cost. (The “cost” being the removal of existing lands and attractions.)
To make way for Tropical Americas, DinoLand U.S.A. is currently becoming extinct, with a phased closure in full swing. Part of the phased closure includes ensuring guests can still enjoy the prehistoric eats and drinks DinoLand offers–even when it’s gone.
Preparing for Trilo-Bites, Dino-Bite Snacks, and Restaurantosaurus Closure
Trilo-Bites and Dino-Bite Snacks are serving guests for the final time on October 19th, before their permanent closure on October 20th. The closure is part of the Tropical Americas project.
Bummed to be missing out on some of your favorite prehistoric bites? Don’t worry! According to Scott Gustin on X, the Buffalo Chicken Chips from Trilo-Bites will move to Eight Spoons Café on Discovery Island, and the Dole Whip floats will relocate to Warung Outpost in Asia!
Hand-scooped ice cream will also return to Animal Kingdom in February 2026.
To prepare for the closure of Restaurantosaurus in 2026, Harambe Market is temporarily closing on October 20th as well, to get the location ready to serve burgers and chicken strips. It’s expected to reopen early next year.
So head over to any of the locations listed above to experience their eats and drinks before they’re gone!
