We Celebrated Halloween With the Ballast Point Skullcuterie Board at Downtown Disney
Have we got any Halloween foodies in the neighborhood?
If you like your gourmet ghoulish and your food frightful, you’d better keep reading! This weekend, our MickeyBloggers went to try out the brand-new Halloween dining experience at Ballast Point in Disney Springs, and it was so deviously delicious that we thought we’d bring you along!

The Spooky Spirit Is Upon Us!
Ballast Point Brewery & Kitchen opened here at Downtown Disney back in 2019, serving up the finest Californian craft beers and a fabulous menu of locally-inspired flavors and ingredients.
However, it was the promise of spooky Halloween specials that enticed us inside the brewery this weekend!

As you can see from our photos, the Halloween spirit has officially descended upon the restaurant, with straw hat-wearing skeletons sat by bunches of crispy, autumnal leaves in the window.

Looking upwards, you’ll see the ceiling resembles a magical pumpkin patch, too!

Isn’t it neat?
Once we’d said “hi” to this creepy fellow, we eagerly settled down to tuck into our dinner. Just wait until you see what we ordered!

The Skullcuterie Board
Aptly named the “Skullcuterie Board,” this unique charcuterie takes inspiration from fall flavors and frightful figures, and we couldn’t think of a more perfect platter to enjoy during spooky season.

Featured on the board is the most intriguing “Three-Cheese Skull,” made with Whipped Chèvre, Blue Cheese, and Brie.
Alongside this is the Chef’s Choice of Cured Meats, Berry Compote, Chimichurri, Dried Fruits, Caperberries, and Pistachios. Lastly, the board is finished with Roasted Bone Marrow and Charred Baguette.
There’s a lot going on here, but doesn’t it sound spectacular?

So, what did our MickeyBloggers think?
Well, it sure sounded like they had a frightfully good time with this experience!

We heard that the plate served the most delicious combination of flavors — just what you’d hope for in a perfect charcuterie board.
The dried fruits and berries were lovely and sweet, while the prosciutto was salty. The bone marrow, in particular, melted in the mouth, divine alongside the garlic charred baguette!

If you’d like to try this Skullcuterie Board out for yourself this Halloween season, it costs $52 from Ballast Point’s Anaheim location.

Would you give it a go?
