Jared Bush and His Team Drew Inspiration From Shanghai Disney Resort’s Zootopia Land For ‘Zootopia 2’
On December 20, 2023, a new chapter in Shanghai Disney Resort began before our eyes with the opening of a new Zootopia-themed land.
The immersive land brings the world of Zootopia to life like never before, allowing guests to explore the animated world while enjoying the Zootopia Hot Pursuit attraction and the Disney Zootopia Comes Alive show.

Among the sights that guests can explore are the Grand Pangolin Arms Apartments, Jaguar Comedy Club, Beaver Dentist, and the Rhino Mud Baths.

As Disney prepares for the arrival of Zootopia 2 in theaters this November, director Jared Bush has been active on social media, engaging with fans about the upcoming film.

Interestingly, Bush revealed that Baa Baa, the sheep barbershop created for Shanghai’s Zootopia land, will actually appear in the upcoming film.

While Disney has noted that their theme parks are an extension of its films, it is not very often that we see the parks’ direct influence on the big screen.
