Hocus Pocus Display and The Witch and Poison Apple Mug Arrives at Carthay Circle Lounge

What do you think of when it comes to Disney Halloween Movies? The Haunted Mansion? The Nightmare Before Christmas? HalloweenTown?

There are so many great options- but my favorite has always been Hocus Pocus, and plenty of fans think so too.

Carthay Circle Lounge at Disney California Adventure has long offered guests more than food and drinks!

It is a living tribute to Disney history, and right now, a brand-new display is paying tribute to Hocus Pocus. Let’s check it out!

The Carthay Circle Lounge has a new display from the Walt Disney Archives with props from Hocus Pocus.

Hocus Pocus Display

The 1993 cult classic follows three witches, the Sanderson sisters, who are accidentally resurrected in Salem, Massachusetts, on Halloween night, 300 years after their execution. The movie was so popular that a sequel, Hocus Pocus 2, was created in 2022.

We spotted Dani Dennison’s Witch Hat worn by Thora Birch…

… and the Manual of Witchcraft and Alchemy Spell Book from Hocus Pocus 2.

The black flame candle prop from Hocus Pocus 2 is also on display.

There is also a Sanderson Witch Museum Lighter Prop from the original movie. 

Original posters, colorful artwork, and screen images from both movies show the fun and spookiness of the films.

The Witch and Poison Apple Mug

While checking out the new display, we also stopped by to snag the highly coveted Witch and Poison Apple mug, which is exclusive to Carthay Circle.

The mug features the Witch from Snow White holding a colorful Poison Apple. The new drinkware is pretty big and heavy.

The mug will be served with a Poison Appletini and retails for $125.

It is highly recommended to make reservations as these are sure to be popular (there is a two per person, per transaction limit).
