‘Freakier Friday’ Gets Home Video Release Date
Twenty-two years after Disney’s beloved Freaky Friday remake hit theaters, Anna and Tess Coleman returned to the big screen last August for Freakier Friday.
“Years later, Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis) and Anna (Lindsay Lohan) endured an identity crisis. Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter,” the film’s synopsis reads.

“As they navigate the myriad challenges that come when two families merge, Tess and Anna discover that lightning might indeed strike twice.”
The Film Hit Theaters in August
A hit with critics and fans alike, Freakier Friday grossed $152.3 million, which was slightly less than Disney had anticipated.

Now, less than two months after the film hit theaters, fans will soon be able to relive the body-swapping adventure from the comfort of their own home!
Freakier Friday will be available to purchase or rent on digital platforms beginning October 7.

Subsequently, on November 11, the film will be released on Blu-ray and DVD.
