WATCH: The Latest ‘Zootopia 2’ Trailer Introduces New Original Song — “Zoo”
In less than two months, fans will finally have the opportunity to reunite with Nick Wilde and Judy Hopps when Zootopia 2 hits theaters.
Originally announced at last year’s D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, the highly anticipated sequel will find Nick and Judy on the “twisting trail of a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down.”

“To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town, where their growing partnership is tested like never before,” the synopsis explains.
Familiar Faces and New Characters
Over the last several months, we have continued to learn more about Zootopia 2, including the fact that the film will introduce a new array of characters.

Now, however, we have finally gotten a glimpse at a new song that will be featured in the film.
Introducing the Latest Zootopia Original Song
Today, Walt Disney Animation Studios released a New trailer for Zootopia 2, which features an all-new original song titled “Zoo.”

Performed by Shakira, who will reprise her role as Gazelle in the film, the song was written by Ed Sheeran, Blake Slatkin, and Shakira.

“Zoo” will be released as a single on Friday, October 10. The song will also appear as part of the film’s full soundtrack, which will be released on November 21.

In addition to the new song, the latest Zootopia 2 trailer formally introduces Gary the Snake and sets the stage for Nick and Judy’s next adventure.
