Darth Vader Moves Meet & Greet Locations at Disney’s Hollywood Studios
When they made the decision to close Star Wars Launch Bay at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I do wonder whose job it was to break the news to Darth Vader.
I mean, Vader has been conducting his obligatory fan meet-and-greets there in the bay for quite some time now. He doesn’t really seem like the kind of Sith Lord who’d leave his lair too willingly, you know?
Anyway, the Launch Bay has now closed, and Darth Vader has been forced to find himself a new home over here by Star Tours.
I’d make a joke about how he’s gone over to the “dark side” of Disney’s Hollywood Studios, but that’d be sithening!
Anyway, our MickeyBloggers thought it’d be nice to stop by and bring him a little housewarming gift, so we headed over past Echo Lake to pay him a visit.
We just headed over near Tatooine Traders, where Vader’s new hang is taking up a part of the Star Tours attraction queue area.
You just need to follow the sound of heavy, anguished breathing, and you’ve got him!
He’s tucked away in a shadier part of the area, probably to stop him melting under all that terrifying get-up.
Oop, here he is. He’s always a bit intimidating in person, huh?
We had brought him a plant as a gift, but we kinda got the impression he has enough of those already.
Anyway, next time you’re visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios, be sure to stop by Star Tours to say hey to Vader. We hope he’s nice and happy in his new joint over here by Star Tours, and doesn’t miss Launch Bay too much!
