Tokyo Disney Resort Announces 2026–2027 Ambassadors

Tokyo Disney Resort has officially revealed its new goodwill ambassadors for 2026–2027: Shingo Kameda and Hikaru Hamanaka.

The announcement was made earlier today, marking the beginning of their two-year journey representing the Resort and its cast members.

Meet Kameda and Hamanaka 

We have been watching and counting down the days to these exciting announcements. Earlier this week, Disneyland announced its 2026-2027 Disneyland Ambassadors.

Michele, Mary, and Oralia Neria Felix were officially announced as the new Disney Ambassadors of Disneyland Resort.

And a few days later, Walt Disney World announced its two new ambassadors: Kylee Withers and Phelicia Blake.

Now Shingo Kameda and Hikaru Hamanak joined the exclusive roles.

After several months of interviews, Kameda and Hamanaka were selected from over 120 cast members who applied this year. They officially begin on January 1, 2026, and serve through December 31, 2027.

Shingo Kameda currently works in Theme Park Operations Department 1. He expressed his gratitude for his colleagues’ support and shared his aspiration to bring smiles and happiness to guests and fellow cast members.

Hikaru Hamanaka, from Theme Park Operations Department 2, is passionate about movies and language studies. She shared that this role is a childhood dream come true and hopes to spread happiness to as many people as possible.

The new ambassadors will appear in media events, charitable activities, and community outreach, representing all cast members and continuing Tokyo Disney Resort’s mission of delivering magical experiences to all guests.
