Celebrating All of the New Disney Ambassadors for 2026–2027

It has been an exciting few weeks for Disney Parks and its Cast Members, as the Disney Ambassadors for the upcoming year have been announced.

The Disney Ambassador Program is a unique tradition that celebrates and represents cast members across Disney parks, resorts, and experiences worldwide.

Ambassadors serve as official spokespersons, supporting Disney’s local communities while spotlighting the everyday magic created by cast, crew, and Imagineers.

How Did it Begin?

The program was created by Walt Disney himself during Disneyland’s 10th anniversary in 1965. With his schedule packed, Walt needed someone to represent him at “Tencennial” events.

Julie Reihm Casaletto, a Disneyland Resort tour guide, became the very first Disney Ambassador.

Since then, nearly 250 Ambassadors have carried on this legacy, serving as storytellers and community leaders across Disney destinations.

Where Do Ambassadors Serve?

Today, every Disney resort has its own team of Ambassadors:

• Disneyland Resort

• Walt Disney World Resort

• Disneyland Paris

• Tokyo Disney Resort

• Hong Kong Disneyland

• Shanghai Disney Resort

• Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa

Ambassadors are selected every other year from a pool of outstanding candidates. They serve two-year terms, with most parks appointing teams of two.

Aulani, however, has one Ambassador representing its cast members.

These extraordinary leaders celebrate the hard work of the cast members and add some magic and pixie dust along the way.

Meet the 2026–2027 Ambassadors

Aulani
Shawny Morey began her Disney career in 2013 and now serves as the 2026–2027 Aulani Ambassador. “Aulani is truly my second home, and cast members are like ʻohana,” Shawny said. She looks forward to spotlighting cast journeys while celebrating Aulani’s connection to Hawaiian culture.

Disneyland Resort
Michele Mary and Oralia Neria Felix were officially selected as the new Ambassadors during a September 2025 ceremony. Oralia shared, “The most emotional part of the day was seeing my parents’ faces when my name got called.” Michele added, “I can’t wait to make everybody at this resort and company proud by showing off the wonderful place we call home.”

Walt Disney World Resort
Kylee Withers and Phelicia Blake will represent Walt Disney World’s 80,000 cast members. Kylee shared, “Becoming a Walt Disney World Ambassador is a dream come true.” Phelicia added, “What I’m looking forward to most as a Disney Ambassador is celebrating our 80,000 cast members here at Walt Disney World.”

Tokyo Disney

Tokyo Disney Resort
Shingo Kameda and Hikaru Hamanaka were chosen from over 120 applicants to represent Tokyo Disney Resort. Hikaru called the moment “a childhood dream,” while Shingo emphasized his goal of bringing smiles to as many people as possible.

For 60 years, the Disney Ambassador Program has honored cast members worldwide. From Disneyland to Aulani, these leaders embody Disney’s commitment to community, culture, and storytelling.

These foundational values began with Walt Disney himself and continue to inspire generations today. Congratulations to the new class of Disney Ambassadors.
