WATCH: Prep & Landing Return in New ‘The Snowball Protocol’ Trailer
Fourteen years after the last installment in the Prep & Landing series, the adorable duo is set to return this holiday season for Prep & Landing: The Snowball Protocol.
The new Christmas special will premiere on Thanksgiving, November 27, on Disney Channel before heading to Disney+ the next day.

Disney’s Prep & Landing is a holiday-themed animated franchise produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The story centers on a high-tech team of Christmas elves who work behind the scenes to prepare homes for Santa Claus’s arrival.

The franchise follows Wayne and Lanny, who are elite members of the covert operation with code names Prep & Landing. The duo is tasked with everything from making rooftops safe for landings to ensuring stockings are hung just right.
A Fan-Favorite Franchise
The original Prep & Landing special was well received by fans and scored a Disney and Emmy nomination in 2009.

Subsequently, two more specials, Prep & Landing: Operation: Secret Santa and Prep & Landing: Naughty vs. Nice, were released in 2010 and 2011, respectively.
‘The Snowball Protocol’
The Snowball Protocol will see Dave Foley reprise his role of Wayne, Derek Richardson voice Lanny, and Sarah Chalke return as Magee.

The special will also include the voice talents of Manny Jacinto as Renato, the North Pole’s resident massage therapist and holistic healer; Dulcé Sloan as Janice, a North Pole post office clerk; and Danny Pudi as Chef Geoff, the master chef at the Fruitcake Factory. Christopher Swindle will play Santa.
