‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’ Trailer Features a Reference to Disney World’s Galactic Starcruiser
The Star Wars universe was set ablaze yesterday when Disney released the first trailer for The Mandalorian & Grogu.
A spinoff of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian, the upcoming film will see Din Djarin and Grogu’s adventures continue on the big screen.

“The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu (as himself),” the film’s synopsis explains.

“This clan of two is ready for the fight! A brand-new Razor Crest has landed in our first look at the highly anticipated next chapter in the Mandalorian’s story!”
A Reference to the Galactic Starcruiser
As soon as the new trailer was released, fans began to sift through the footage for hints at what’s to come.

Galactic Starcruiser
Amazingly, one keen-eyed observer found a reference to Disney World’s ill-fated Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser hotel.
During the Mandalorian & Grogu trailer, fans can see a ticker that reads “Halcyon. See the galaxy” in Aurebesh.

The advertisement for the fictional luxury spaceship can only be seen if the trailer image is flipped.
The Haycon
For those who may not remember, the immersive role-playing hotel experience known as the Galactic Starcruiser opened on March 1, 2022, allowing guests to step into the Star Wars universe like never before.

According to the Starcruiser’s backstory, guests were actually boarding the Halcyon, a luxury cruiser that Anakin Skywalker and Padame once traveled aboard together.
Although Galactic Starcruiser debuted to high expectations, it struggled to meet occupancy targets. While the theming received praise, the steep price tag and narrow audience drew widespread criticism.

While Disney World’s Star Wars hotel is now a part of galactic history, it is great to see that the Halcyon’s legacy lives on in a galaxy far, far away.
